I just saw this and I thought I’d share:
Oh, bloody hell. Like I didn’t have enough distractions.
The 2010 game, Red Dead Redemption, caused quite a stir at the Thrakka Ranch. I love westerns, and I lusted for the game from the time when it was first announced until I finally broke down and bought a PS3 just so I could play it. I tore into it, and my family started watching the story while I played.
That’s where the trouble started. Charlotte would point out my mistakes in glorious, technicolor detail. Eventually I’d get frustrated with the peanut gallery and shut it down until I could get some time in when everyone was out of the house. Naturally, Charlotte was hooked, and she started a playthrough. She actually finished the game before I did. That says something. She doesn’t spend a lot of time on console games. The story was just that good.
Now, there’s this. Guess I’ll have to spring for a PS4.
